Snow

I really miss shooting for daily papers. At the time, the worst assignment you could be assigned was the dreaded “weather art”. It’s windy today. Go.

Now that I’m stuck scrambling for what little work I can get, I relish the unusual weather. Windy day? great, off I go. Snow storm? Even better! Of course, it’s easy when I have free reign over my shots and don’t need to find the random ice fisherman, but what I miss most of all was the challenge of trying to bring back a front-page shot from a story that begins and ends with “wind.”
